Hi Moments

I can finally say, “Yes! I have gone ice fishing!” Another checked box of things to do in Maine! It was cold, and why not add some wind chill to top it off? But it was fun, being surrounded by good company, great stories, and amazing vibes.

I loved fishing back in Hawaii but this was a whole different world. Instead of walking the shore you literally just choose a spot and drill straight into ice. But setting your line and waiting for a bite? That’s no different than anything I’ve experienced. I soaked in the moment, the excitement whenever any one got a bite, the laughs, and the support every one had for one another. 

I haven’t gotten my first catch just yet, but I have quickly learned that’s not the point of ice fishing. 

Maybe snowmobiling is next on the list, who knows! I am truly blessed to get to experience new things, and embracing life in Maine!
