It has always been a goal of mine to find a way to better share my photography, instead of snapping a picture and letting it sit on a memory card. Instagram and Facebook are fine, but I wanted more creative freedom, and to get away from the pressure of “likes.” I also wanted an outlet to better share thoughts, and experiences. It has been a journey just to arrive here, at this very moment and it is full filling just to come to realize that. I’m more than excited to see where this experience will take me.
One of the main points of this website is to post up my photography. It’s a hobby. I enjoy snapping pictures and learning about the different aspects and techniques in the craft. Learning about composition, and gaining confidence is self gratifying.
Another main point is to document personal experiences. Being a lesbian, person of color, and in the military I find myself looking through youtube and other social media platforms for something to connect to. When I find those connections I feel a bit of pride and comfort. To be able to share and contribute to that experience is sort of a goal.
